New Kids on the Block

Yo, it’s Nicola here. Me and Phil are like totally making a Büdchen for your enjoyment and beer drinking pleasure and you are invited to come visit and play in December. So far we are basically making lists and collecting cardboard. We don’t have a car, so we pretty much grab what we can and chuck it in the studio when we are passing by. Phil is also painting signs and I am drawing imaginary friends.

I guess you probably want to know what a Büdchen is, right? Well it’s this typically Köln thing - kind of like a kiosk on the street that sells beer and is decorated according to the taste of the owner. So we are making this and decorating it and making products to sell in it and also we are making an imaginary community ~ Friendship Island ~. 

Um… so if you want to get involved in our project, here’s our current wish list:  

• a VCR that works

• skate videos (not Public Domain ‘cos we got that already)

• beer fridge

• imaginary people to live on ~ Friendship Island ~

• milk crates

• beer sponsorship

• marker sponsorship

• cardboard

YEAH! Let us know if you can hook us up and we’ll like totally let you hang out in the Büdchen and maybe even let you see some of the secret stuff that only we can see. And if you work for Visy or Sharpie or a giant beer manufacturer… call me … x
